v0.2.1 - End of Year Fixes

Happy holidays! 🎄 As the year wraps up, we’re shipping a small update with a handy new feature and several polish fixes.

🎉 New Features

Images can now link to external URLs! Perfect for creating clickable banners, call-to-action buttons, or linking to external resources.

  • Add a link - Set a URL in the image settings sidebar
  • Custom label - Optionally customize the button text (e.g., “Visit Website”, “Learn More”)
  • Open behavior - Choose to open links in a new tab or same tab
  • Confirmation dialog - Users see a confirmation before navigating to external sites

✨ Improvements

Multiline Document Titles

Document titles now support multiline editing. Long titles wrap naturally instead of being cut off, making it easier to give your documents descriptive names.

  • Auto-expanding - The title field grows as you type
  • Word wrapping - Long titles break across multiple lines
  • Clean editing - Uses contenteditable for a seamless experience

Better Text Editing in Sticky Notes

We’ve improved the text cursor and editing experience in sticky notes:

  • Text cursor - Now shows the proper I-beam cursor when editing, instead of the custom hand pointer
  • Word breaking - Long strings without spaces now wrap properly instead of overflowing the container
  • Consistent layout - Text no longer shifts between editing and viewing modes

🐛 Bug Fixes

Document Element Flash on Load

Fixed an issue where documents would briefly animate/resize when a room loaded. The transition that was causing this visual glitch has been removed.

Removed 3D Tilt Effect

The subtle 3D book tilt effect on documents has been removed. It wasn’t serving a purpose and was causing minor visual inconsistencies.

Overflow Handling

Fixed scrollbar behavior in sticky notes:

  • When not editing - Content clips cleanly without a scrollbar
  • When editing - Scrollbar appears if content overflows

Small fixes that add up to a smoother experience. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎅 See you in 2026 with more updates!
